Well there...welcome to my humble abode...

Hey there friends, foe, fellow bloggers, extremely bored internet surfers, and everyone in between. My name is Dan, you can call me Dan, Danny, Daniel, pretty much anything but the lame and stereotypical little catchphrase names I've become so annoyed with over the years such as "Dano" or "Dan-the-man" as if us Dan's in the world have not heard enough of these lame attempts to be clever, but I digress. Friends call me Daniel James, and of course if your visiting me here today and taking the time to read this, I'd like to call you a friend.

Welcome to "Reasons To Drink." Now I know what you're thinking, "Dan, I don't need reasons to drink, my girlfriend is currently yelling at me, my rent is late, my dog just crapped on the rug, I have thirty-eight dollars and twenty two cents in my bank account, and my hairline is starting to recede from all the stress."

Well ladies and gents, Reasons To Drink is not a practical term, we all know drinking is a sure-fire way to relieve stress when those little things in life piss us off and this blog is dedicated to daily observations, matters of opinion, and little things in life that either bother me, drive me crazy, make me angry, sad, depressed or miserable. If your looking for a pick-me-up type blog, you're in the wrong place.

Let's get something straight though, I am not a negative person. Anyone who has spent time with me knows I'm one of the most happy-go-lucky people around, and to be quite frank, I find a whole lot of humor in these daily little "occurrences" that drive us all mad sometimes. If you are the kind of person that can laugh in the face of misery, appreciate pointless random humor, and say to yourself "Yeah, that makes me want to punch somebody too..." than you will thoroughly enjoy this page.

In addition, this blog will never be a 24/7 "bitch fest." I made the decision to start this up as a means of expressing views and opinions that I am 100% positive many of us all share, and as a means of finding an audience who simply says..."That's definitely right on."
